Assamese Inscript Keyboard Layout for MacOS
Typing Assamese using inscript keyboard in MacOS is always been a challenge. There are many keyboards available, but all are phonetic. Lekhoni will help all the designers and video editors, who are using inscript keyboard for long time and now switch to MacOS.

How to use Lekhoni
1. Download the Lekhoni v1.0.zip
2. Double click on the file and a directory with the name Lekhoni v1.0 will automatically be created
3. There are three files viz., Lekhoni v1.0.keylayout, Lekhoni v1.0.icns, Lekhoni Keyboard Bundle, Keyboard Layout.jpeg and User Manual.pdf
4. Copy the files Lekhoni v1.0.keylayout and Lekhoni v1.0.icns into the /Library/Keyboard Layouts. Provide the Root password if required
or
Right click on the Lekhoni Keyboard Bundle file and open with Keyboard Installer (Default) and install with current user.
5. Reboot system
6. After reboot, Go to System Preferences>Keyboard
7. Select “Show Keyboard & Character Viewers in menu bar”
8. Click on the “Input Sources” and in that menu then click on “+” symbol down below.
9. Click on Assamese or Others, then select Lekhoni v1.0 from the list.
10. Reboot your system and select Lekhoni v1.0 from the language bar and enjoy inscript keyboard typing.
